ASSOCIATION DES FEMMES CHEFS D’ENTREPRISES DU MAROC

AFEM is an independent professional association of Moroccan women entrepreneurs who share a common vision and interests. It was founded in September 2000 and represents women entrepreneurs in various economic institutions while serving as a liaison between the public authorities and other institutions. Since May 2006, the association has been a leader in supporting women entrepreneurs through "Casa Pionnières", the first women's incubator in Morocco and the MENA region dedicated to promoting the creation of businesses by women. AFEM is one of the first Moroccan professional associations to have obtained ISO 9001 V 2000 certification for the development of women's entrepreneurship and assistance in business creation.

- Promoting female entrepreneurship;
- Managing, guiding and supporting female entrepreneurs in their business development and in their competitiveness;
- Encouraging the creation of businesses by women in Morocco;
- Promoting the image of the female entrepreneur in Morocco and abroad;
- Representing women business leaders at decision-making levels as a unit group in relation to power networks.

Present in eight Moroccan regions with a network of more than 600 women entrepreneurs throughout Morocco and the support of the Pionnières federation (a network of 20 incubators in Europe and of which AFEM is a member of the Board of Directors), AFEM's achievements through the "Maroc Pionnières" project are :

- 254 actions to raise awareness of the entrepreneurial spirit
- 8856 persons sensitized to entrepreneurship
- 92 Selection committees for the best projects
- 211 projects benefited from pre-incubation services
- 87 companies representing various sectors were created
- More than 4816 hours of accompaniment
- 590 hours of training provided
- 37 specific training courses
- 4 Operational incubators (Casablanca, Rabat, El Jadida, Tangier)
